Emergency Parking Lot Restriping Begins 9/15

For everyone’s safety, we’re giving our parking lots a quick refresh starting Monday, September 15, 2025. Fresh striping, directional arrows, and clearer zones will improve visibility, guide traffic flow, and address recent safety concerns so we can all find a space and move safely.

We appreciate the understanding of our Temple visitors, customers, tenants, residents, and vendors while this work is underway. Please follow posted signs, drive slowly, and allow a little extra time to park.

    • Watch for Cones & Signs: Some stalls may be temporarily closed while paint cures and/or in preparation for repair work and maintenance.

    • Use the Map: Check our quick map link so you can plan where to park before you arrive.

    • Extra Time Helps: Add a few minutes to your trip, especially at peak hours.

    • Follow the Arrows: Please drive with the flow of the painted arrows to keep traffic moving smoothly.

    • Yield at the Upper Lot Driveway: Before heading down, pause and look. The driveway is single-lane, so allow any vehicle coming up to exit first.

    • Stay Inside the Lines: Park fully within the fresh stripes so everyone fits.

    • Respect Loading & Drop-Off Zones: Quick stops only—perfect for helping someone in and out, not for long-term parking.

    • No Creative Spots: Curbs, fire lanes, and tow-away zones need to stay clear for safety.

    • Slow & Steady: Speed limit in the lot is walking pace—ideal for spotting keiki or kupuna.

    • Share the Aloha: If you’re in a prime spot and can manage a short walk, consider leaving the closest stalls for those who need them.

    • Loading Zone Locations: We have 4 Loading Zones striped in yellow, 2 in the Upper Parking Lot and 2 in the Lower Parking Lot.

      • Loading Zones U1 (Ewa) & U2 (Diamond Head) - are located in the Upper Lot and are recommended for Temple Office and Komagata Hall 1st floor and 2nd floor access and deliveries.

      • Loading Zone L1 Makai - is recommended for Social Hall, Dojo, and Komagata Hall basement unit (Room 1, Room 2) access and deliveries.

      • Loading Zone L2 Mauka - is recommended for Hall Kitchen deliveries.

    • How to Reserve: Use of these Loading Zones is by reservation only. Vehicles parked in these zones without a reservation will be towed. Tenants, Ministers, and Residents can contact the Property Manager during business hours to reserve.

      • Customers and temple members wishing to book the Loading Zone must go through the business owner or Temple Office, respectively.

    • Loading Zone Hours: Mon - Sat 7:00 am - 9:00 pm. No Sunday reservations.
